No Ghosts on Good Street

Based on a 3D model created by the Fireplace post-production studio, I designed a poster for Emi Buchwald’s award-wining debut. I also prepared the typographic layer for the film.

No Ghosts on Good Street tells the story of four siblings entering adulthood who are trying to build their own lives without losing the bonds that connect them. The poster plays with the title—seemingly “No Ghosts on Good Street”—but a strange silhouette looms in the foreground.

By placing the protagonist with his back to the viewer, I am referring to horror movie posters, and although Emi Buchwald’s film does not belong to this genre, it has something metaphysical and deeply disturbing about it.
